About

Call me Riley. And I’m living the Life of Riley.
That, of course, was the name of an old comedy series about retirement.
And that is what this blog is about – Our Time Now, living the retirement life you always dreamed of.
It isn’t easy, is it?
What with a recession/depression, spiraling medical costs, dwindling insurance and rising inflation, making retirement enjoyable and secure is as challenging as having a job.
But I hope I can help.
I retired at the age of 62 after a corporate job. I am anything but inactive. I love to ride bicycles and do several long distance tors each year. My wife and I love traveling, spending winters in Florida, golf, and anything related to health and fitness. My wife Jennifer teaches water aerobics, I’m a substitute instructor at our local health club teaching spinning classes. We have active roles in the lives of our three grown children and six grandchildren.
This blog is a labor of love. I share my thoughts, videos, hopes, dreams, joys, frustrations.
I bet some of it will resonate with you.
